Summer Programming

Summer themed days have become so popular they will continue throughout August at the Muncie Children's Museum! The new themed days will consist of: Animal Extravaganza, Craftivity Time, Educator Spotlight and Field Trip Fun!

Animal Extravaganza

Animal Extravaganza will center around one of the awesome animals that calls the museum home! One of our exotic creatures will be available to see, touch and ask questions about. An animal-of-the-day could vary from Penelope the Chinchilla, Axl the Axolotl, Valkyrie (Val) the Tarantula, Maize the albino Corn snake or many of the other creatures that reside in the MCM!

Craftivity Time will be all about crafts, activities and creativity in our Make 'n Take studio! Make sure you don't leave your imagination at home because you'll definitely need it for all of the amazing crafts that you'll be a part of when you visit the MCM during Craftivity Time!

Educator Spotlight will be an activity that is solely dedicated to the talents that each of our MCM educators hold! Each day will be a surprise as an educator opens up about their specific talents each one of them possess.

Field Trip Fun will be an entire session that will give everyday visitors the chance to experience the programs and activities that our field trips see! The Learn Not to Burn house will be open some days for programming and other days will be based in the Star Lab where visitors will learn about space and the stars. There are other programs that field trip groups get to participate in so make sure you visit the MCM to find out what they are!

All of the Summer Programming sessions are included with general admission. Reservations are not required.
