Celebrate your child's next birthday party at the Muncie Children's Museum! Not only will your child have a great time with his or her friends, but you'll be encouraging their creativity and learning at the same time! An hour and a half is allotted for every party.

Extravaganza Party Themes

Brio Train Party
Put on your overalls and be a train conductor during the Brio Train Party! Each child will have their picture taken in the Museum's train exhibit and participate in fun train activities with the party's host or hostess.

Dinosaurs
Take a step back in time to the Jurassic Period and get your picture taken with our baby Brontosaurus! For some prehistoric fun, play dinosaur games, create a picture frame for your dinosaur picture, participate in activities or hear a dinosaur story!

Garfield
Garfield will make a personal appearance at your birthday party! Party guests will have their picture taken with Garfield as a keepsake and have the chance to make a frame for their picture. Garfield themed activities, games and decorations will be provided for your party. Lasagna not included!

Pirate
Ahoy Matey! Be a birthday pirate at the Museum. This party is all about the birthday pirate and his or her mates! From red & black pirate decorations, an Island Hopping game with pirate treasures, bandanas for guests and a pirate hat for the birthday boy or girl, a swashbuckling good time is guaranteed as each child goes home with a special photo.

Purple Princess
Step into a world of make-believe! Your child will be the ruler of all they survey as they sit atop our child-sized throne. The children will act out the role of princess complete with a royal crown, play royal games, participate in activities and have pictures taken on the throne!

Party Details

• If you intend to have more than 30 guests, you must book an additional room. An additional room is $25.00.
  
• A $25 deposit is required no less than two weeks prior to your party date. If a deposit is not received within 72 hours, the party will be cancelled. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance or the deposit will NOT be refunded.
  
• Reservations are scheduled for an hour and a half in each party room. You are allowed access to your room 15 minutes prior to the start of the party. Each party includes unlimited playtime in the Museum before and after your party during regular Museum hours.
  
• Piñatas are NOT allowed at the Muncie Children's Museum parties.

• All provided birthday party cakes are from Concannon's Pastry Shop!
  
• Each cake serves approximately 24 people. Additional cakes may be ordered.
  
• For Big Bash and Pizza Parties:
  • Additional cake: $12.00
    
• For Extravaganza Parties:
  • Additional cake: $16.00

Ordering Pizza

• Pizza (one topping only) is provided for the Pizza Party or may be added to any party for $10.00 per pizza. Pizza provided by the Museum is from Domino's.
