Dino Dig Be a paleontologist for a day! Grab a brush and dig for fossils at the MCM's dig site complete with fossil replications, a baby Brontosaurus and vertical fossil wall. Visitors can follow a colored timeline that goes throughout the different eras of the planet.
Garfield Exhibit See the evolution of Garfield from beginning to now. Learn how to draw Garfield and discover the secrets of Garfield's creation.
Water Works Water Works demonstrates the power of flowing water. Aim squirt guns at spinning targets, use creativity to channel and direct water to your liking or estimate and measure capacity using the measuring materials.
The Bat Cave Crouch down into the cave, hear cave sounds and see bats hanging from the ceiling. This cave represents a number of Indiana caves formed by water. Learn all about the most common bats in Indiana, brown bats.
The Tree Slide Explore the base of the tree to find costumes for different animals and animal puppets, as well as hear animal sounds. Up in the nest, birdcalls can be heard as you head down the slide.
The Ant Wall Climb in and around the Museum's most popular exhibit, the Ant Wall! Pretend to be a colony of ants and learn the different jobs.
Veterinarian Corner Gather eggs from the chickens or milk the cow. See how you measure up to the size of various farm animals on the wall chart. Learn about the different farm animals and play the part of a veterinarian.
Animal Corner Visit with the Muncie Children's Museum's friendly animals, fish, amphibians and reptiles. Meet our snakes Desi, Lucy and Maze, Frankie the Eastern Box Turtle, Ollie the frog, Boris the tarantula and Arthur the lizard. Learn about their habitats and what makes up their diets.
Post Office Sort the mail by ZIP code and deliver letters and packages all around the Museum. Put on the uniforms and be a true mail carrier!
Schoolhouse Compare the schoolhouse of the past with the schools of today. Take the role of a teacher and lead your students in a lesson by writing on the gigantic chalkboard. The red slide outside of the schoolhouse even came from Emerson School in Muncie!
Munseetown Train The Munseetown Train has had a makeover! The Muncie & Western Model Railroad Club, along with the Museum staff, led renovations to completely overhaul the Munseetown Train. Push the red buttons around the exhibit to watch it come to life!
Nutrition Kitchen Set the table and use foods from the Marsh Mini Market to serve a healthy meal. While in the Nutrition Kitchen, check out Stuffee, the big doll with blue hair in the closet. He unzips and his internal organs can be taken out so students can learn more about the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems.
Marsh Mini Market Marsh Mini Market is full of foods to role-play with in the Nutrition Kitchen. The Mini Market is designed to encourage children to experience hands-on nutrition education, grocery shopping and career exploration.

The Big Rig In the corner of the Museum, find the semi or rig. It has two sections: a tractor and a trailer that can be separated from the tractor. Hop inside to see a truck driver's home away from home.
Tot Spot A special place for our youngest visitors. Tot Spot offers a hands-on experience for ages two and under. Let your youngsters take a ride in the Comfy Car, which allows children to actively engage their minds and hands.
Outdoor Learning Center Devoted to sparking the creativity and imagination of visitors. Offers a tree house, the "Five Senses" garden and room to gather to watch performances and presentations.
The Senses Learn about the five senses and how the brain controls them all. This hands-on exhibit features a larger-than life brain, ear, eye, hand, mouth and nose.
