The Muncie Children’s Museum is a place for hands-on learning. All group programs allow time for exploration, investigation, experimentation, and fun throughout the museum. Field trip programs are adapted to align with the Indiana Academic Standards for Science and Literacy.

Programs are 25–30 minutes in length, and each class may participate in one program per field trip. We encourage groups to enjoy free exploration time in the museum following their scheduled program.

Admission Cost
The group rate is $5 per person for Museum Exploration (no guided program) and $6 per person for field trip programs: Animal Families, Learn Not To Burn, Shopping With Shapes, and Cookie Creation.

Group rates are available for pre-scheduled groups of 10 or more. For groups with 10 or more children, one adult is admitted free for every five children.

Please note: MCM memberships, reciprocal memberships, discount coupons, and free sand art coloring sheets do not apply to group visits or field trip programs. 

FIELD TRIP REGISTRATION

To register for a field trip, please call the museum at 765-286-1660 Wednesday – Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., or fill out the Online Registration Form.

Space is limited. Please reserve your trip at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability. A confirmation will be sent once your reservation is received.

• School name
• Grade levels

• Will your group visit the gift shop?
