MCM Access for All

Starting in 2025, MCM is taking a huge step forward in fulfilling our commitment to providing ALL children the opportunity to experience and enjoy everything our Museum has to offer. As of January 1, 2025, children and families who participate in any of the qualifying programs listed below are eligible for $1/person admission ($5/family max) to the Muncie Children’s Museum during any regular business hours: CSHCS (Indiana Children’s Special Health Care Services) CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program) HIP (Healthy Indiana Plan – Basic and Plus) Hoosier Care Connect Hoosier Healthwise Medicaid SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) WIC To receive the reduced admission rate, families simply present proof of participation in any of the qualifying

Cardboard City

Welcome to Cardboard City, Muncie Children’s Museum’s new temporary mini exhibit created by YOU! We have loved seeing all the creative buildings and creations our visitors have crafted over the last couple of weeks. We have spotted a laser tag building, McDonald’s with golden arches, police helicopter and landing pad, and even Batman’s Batcave, to name a few! Make sure to stop in to add your masterpiece to our unique city, we can’t wait to see what you create! This temporary mini exhibit is sponsored by the Ronald L. McDaniel Foundation.

Muncie Children’s Museum Partners with TeenWorks

Muncie Children’s Museum is proud to have partnered with TeenWorks for their summer program. TeenWorks offers local teens summer employment in high-demand fields to expand their horizons and help them take a first step into the adult world. While with us at MCM, TeenWorks staff (wearing their blue shirts) will assist in cleaning and office duties, help with activities and field trip programs, and clean up the outdoor learning center. We are so excited to have them here with us this summer!
