Story Book Summer continues in July! Dive into a new story book theme complete with crafts, games, and more!
Daily activities at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Week 1 July 5-10 features Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons. Participate in a button scavenger hunt, make Pete the Cat hats, button bracelets, and play the popping button activity. Pete the Cat will be visiting July 8-10!
Week 2 July 12-17 features Mo Willems’ Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog, play Feed the Pigeon game, pigeon hide and seek, and make paper plate pigeons.
Week 3 July 19-24 features Edwina The Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct, How Do Dinosaurs Play With Their Friends, and Dinosaur vs. Bedtime. Play the dinosaur movement game and create a dinosaur out of shapes. Explore with PaleoJoe on July 23 from 10:30-2:30! PaleoJoe is an award winning paleontologist, author, and storyteller.
Week 4 July 26-July 31 features Click Clack Moo Cows that Type, the Llama Llama books, and Hooray for Amanda & Her Alligator. Have fun with letter matching quilts, make friendship bracelets, and create cow masks. Children who wears their pajamas on July 27 will get $1 off admission.
