July Free Saturday: Trains

Calling all train lovers!
All aboard for our train themed Free Saturday event on July 20th!

Explore the new Muncie & Western Railroad exhibit with a fantastically detailed model train layout designed to look like Muncie with familiar landmarks surrounding the tracks. The new exhibit offers numerous interactive areas including a dress-up station, and a Book Nook focused on railroads and trains. Muncie and Western Model Train Club will also be here to share about the new model train display and answer questions. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a fun train craft as well.

Did you know that we also have a new Water Table? Visitors can explore the new Water Table designed to mimic the White River’s bend, where Muncie is nestled. The new water table includes some really cool features such as a fog mushroom, tornado “vortex” simulator, and capability to build dams!

Thanks to our sponsor, Norfolk Southern, admission to the Muncie Children’s Museum on July 20th is FREE to all visitors from 10am-5pm
