Join Muncie Children’s Museum on Wednesday, July 10, at 10am for a Nature Scavenger Hunt at Minnetrista Nature Area.

Explore and learn with Minnetrista’s horticulture staff as they guide us through the Indiana native habitats represented in Minnetrista’s Nature Area. Staff will share insights about plant life in the tall grass prairie and woodland. Visitors will also have the opportunity to contribute to the habitat by helping to sow seeds while throwing seed balls throughout the Nature Area. Each family that participates will be entered to win a nature book or nature kit to be given away at the end of the event.

This event is part of Muncie Children’s Museum’s FREE summer program, More to Explore in Muncie, with weekly nature events sponsored by Muncie Altrusa Foundation. Every time your family attends a More to Explore in Muncie nature event, you will be entered into a drawing for a family membership to Muncie Children’s Museum to be given away in August.
